Ajaib Group, which houses mobile investment platform Ajaib Reksa Dana and securities Ajaib Sekuritas, today announced having South Korean actor Kim Seon-Ho as its brand ambassador.
Set to commence in early 2021, the collaboration aims to encourage Indonesian millennials to invest and learn to be financially independent since young, as well as to support the development of the capital market in Indonesia.
Kim Seon-Ho has seen his popularity skyrocketed following the Netflix drama 'Start-Up', where his role as Han Ji-Pyeong portrays a hardworking orphan who starts investing in his teens and becomes successful.
"Our goal is to help Indonesian millennials to be financially independent, by educating and giving them access to online stock investment through our application, Ajaib. The success story of Han Ji-Pyeong can be theirs to grab too," said Anderson Sumarli, cofounder and CEO of Ajaib Group.
Yada Piyajomkwan, cofounder of Ajaib Group added that there will be more events informed in Ajaib apps, including inviting Kim Seon-Ho as well as a special session for lucky users of Ajaib.
Recently several companies in Indonesia have collaborated with South Korean stars as their brand ambassador, such as ecommerce Tokopedia with BTS.
