JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta presents many exciting delicacies, laced with premium ingredients at its award-winning restaurants to welcome the Lunar New Year of the Earth Pig. From the culinary options from Pearl Chinese Restaurant and Sailendra Restaurant, to luxurious hampers for family and colleagues, as a perfect gift to wish for luck this upcoming year.

On the Lunar New Year’s Eve, guests who dine at Pearl Chinese Restaurant and Sailendra Restaurant are invited to participate in the giant Yee Sang tossing ceremony at the lobby. Guests will be entertained by the age-old cultural performance, The Lion Dance, and traditional Chinese music, guzheng.

At Pearl Chinese Restaurant, guests can have a feast with family, friends and colleagues while celebrating The Year of Earth Pig. JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta’s new resident Executive Chinese Chef Daniel Foong has prepared special set menu, available from 28 January – 28 February 2019, such as the “Wealth” set menu (Rp 988,000++ per person), “Prosperity” set menu (Rp 1,388,000++) per person, and “Fortune” set menu (Rp 1,588,000++) per person.

While on the Lunar New Year, Chef Daniel Foong presents a special Chinese New Year’s Day Brunch with specially-crafted “Yum Cha” along with various dim sum selections, live stations and many more at Rp 498,000++ per person, including free-flow of non-alcoholic beverages.

Yee Sang

Sailendra Restaurant also celebrates the year of the Earth Pig with special dinner buffet on Chinese New Year’s Eve on 4 February 2019 at Rp 698,000++ per person and buffet brunch on Chinese New Year on 5 February 2019 at Rp 598,000++ per person, along with Chinese food counters and special delicacies.

For large groups, JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta also offers a Lunar New Year dining package, inclusive of Yee Sang Toss and various premium Chinese set menus, starting from Rp 11,500,000++ per table of 10 persons.

 
Nian Gao

For one who wants to send a gift for the Lunar New Year, the hotel also offers the prosperous Nian Gao. Known as the offering to the Gods, Nian Gao is a popular traditional dessert which is customarily eaten during Chinese New Year as it is believed to bring good luck to those who eat it. This year, Pearl Chinese Restaurant continues to bring this perfect gift for family, friends and colleagues. Available until 20 February 2019, Pearl Chinese Restaurant’s Nian Gao is made from all-natural ingredients and crafted in Koi fish shape, available in three different flavors and various sizes.
